Summary

High Elf Guards

High Elf Guards

Beloch wants to kill our Morrigan and Shayla that she's holding. Freya recognizes that it’s our Morrigan because of the tattoo of the rose dagger, but Beloch doesn’t care because love brings pain. He’s able to retrieve the dagger using a spell. Beloch/Freya uses power word kill on Shayla. She dies in Morrigan’s arms, someone Morrigan pulled herself apart for.

Shayla says to Morrigan, I swear we meant no harm. Horus said it was the only way we could all be together. That you would be strong enough to stand against your father, to make him change back to the old ways. Your father hated him (Menteith) intensely. No matter what he did it was never good enough. I knew that cauldron couldn’t be trusted. Cauldron’s and rituals? What place do they have in love? We had to try, I’m sorry. We were wrong. And then you… she took such pleasure in her cruelty. I stayed because I hoped I could change her. But the joy she took in tormenting your parents beneath the tower… the games she played with the Justicars too, the blackmail… there was no good left in her. To think, her love could take me to such a place.

Morrigan accuses Freya of killing her love. Freya apologises and admits it was Beloch, so the secret is out.

Freya and Ka’Kadie collapse, a large, dark figure pours out of them. It’s Belereth, reformed. She says she did not find love during this experiment, she found hate. The doors to the afterlife are closed, there will be no reincarnation, no hope.

Belereth tries to kill our Morrigan. Honey’s pissed at Freya for letting Beloch choose hate. Unexpectedly, a large tentacled monster (Unduloch) with Menteith’s brother’s head erupts through the floor and attacks Queen Morrigan. People fall through the hole in the floor. Freya steals a red and a blue gem from Queen Morrigan while ripping the necklace from her neck. The other gems are scattered. Freya, Morrigan and Kaa’Riin misty step into the hole to escape.

There are other people in the hole including Randy Buck (episode 8), Shayla and the hot elf. They group up with the women as they move through the tunnels below the castle. Randy Buck has a green gem.

They move down the tunnels and hear chanting that is not of this world. The Sword of Deception says they’ve been here before when Freya stole the sword. She saw people who didn’t have their souls in a prison. The Sword of Deception draws a rune on the ground that Morrigan needs to save her parents. Shayla knows the way to Morrigan’s parents.

Flashbacks and Asides

Opening: the multiverse breathes. Once there’s one last breath you will know loss.

Ka’Kaydie is not only Belosh but has led an army from Gresop’s Market to lnyeth Lenora.

Alana and Cory wrote a separate moment:

Time has stopped. Morrigan uses the timepiece from Thassa to reverse time and Shayla’s death. She casts death ward and restarts time. Then she weaves an illusion so it appears that Shayla still died when she actually escapes.

Cory is a bit lost, he thought love would win, not hate. He explains more about the implications of Belereth’s decision: when people die from now on, the soul vanishes into the void, not the afterlife.

Queen Morrigan escaped the ballroom and stood before the four generals of the armies. The two who were Justicars were not happy.  She commanded them to go to war.
