Episode 10: Nothing Lasts Forever[]
Summary[]
Jorda's Eyepatch
The party wakes in the Children of the Night's (COTN) hide-out. They learn that the Madam of the Nine Lives Guild (NLG) can see through Jorda/Raven’s eye that she took. He keeps her placated for the survival of 30-40 kids. He didn’t tell her about the trio. The women want to go into the NLG tower to get a soul gem for Vinny, and access to the Justicars. Jorda can get them into the tower disguised as cleaners. He asks Freya to bring back his eye.
They head to the Nine Lives Tower, meet Alan, and learn rules: do not make eye contact with The Being of Many Eyes, do not feed anything in “The Chamber”, do not turn off the power source, do not make noise around Being of Many Ears, only people on Alpha team can go into the Madam’s room, and don’t lose your buddy. They also learn that “The Chamber'' is scary and to not go into the Museum of Antiquities. The trio teams up with Alan.
The second floor has a portal to Mendalyn. The sixth floor doesn’t exist. They learn about the big three: Madam Gruber, metal man with big fleshy hands (Mentieth) and Minty Bitch. They head to the Museum of Antiquities, fight the Being of Many Ears and Kaa’Riin gets many souls from creatures that she can now turn into.
The Staff of Many Peices
From the Being of Many Ears they learn that Freya’s dad is alive, maybe in prison, and her mother is also alive. Also that Kaa’Riin‘s dad was the last Justicar of Kalishtar and her daughter is alive. Morrigan is a thing that was created. They give Alan part of the Staff of Many Pieces, it glows for a second. Freya trades her eye for Jorda’s even though that will result in a replacement that allows the Being of Many Eyes and the Madam to see through it.
