Summary[]
Alan, Kaa’Riin, Being of many eyes, Freya, and Freya’s mom are fighting Keradril who has Lewt’s staff. Kaa’Riin’s call lightning does the most damage. Keradril wants the Soulace stone that Freya’s mom has. As he’s damaged we realise there’s no body inside the armour, just a dark soul. He’s become a lich. They defeat him and his soul goes into the Soulace stone. The golems stop fighting.
Kaa’Riin orders the clockwork army to attack Dragon.
However, on her turn Morrigan casts command and puts the dragon into a dream state so the Queen of the Undreamed can deal with it. The dragon doesn’t wake up despite the initial cannon barrage. This gives Morrigan time to remove one of the two souls and put it into a gem. He wakes and tries to kill her, then leaves before she can get the second one. We don't know which soul she has. Morrigan crushes it as a commander.
Queen Morrigan, Shayla, and Morrigan’s mom walk out of the forest together towards Freya, Kaa’Riin and that group as the episode ends.
Flashbacks and Asides[]
Queen of the Undreamed (from episode 32) gives the dragon a dream of soaring throughout the galaxy.
At 37:29 the perspective shifts to Stacey as DM, Cory as Darkon and Cooper as Lewt on a side quest within the larger battle. They start near Morrigan and the dragon and travel over the battlefield to Keradril who has Lewt's staff. They have to dodge friendly fire and ships from the clockwork army aka sky pirates. They save an endangered, pregnant cricket from Australia.
The Being is concerned because he sees many, many sets of eyes in the water coming toward them.
We learn that people who don’t have a soul are easy to control.
