Background[]
Tal Dornus, or more typically just Dornus, is described as a demi-god, and being the son of two gods. He appears as bald man with a long face.
As explained in episode six, a spear of light struck his mother (Elas) and she became the mountain. He plans to feed her souls to raise her again and find his father. Later, we learn that he is already feeding her souls to keep her alive through a portal in a church. The trio destroyed the portal in episode 7. In that episode we also learned that he is a being of the darkness.
Dornus and Lord Keridral are manipulating people and events to create a massive war to produce enough souls to raise Elas. They tried to do this before 400 years ago when they massacred the Kalishtari. They may have been doing this over and over again in a loop of time.
